Cindy Greer, SMM-C, CDP
Founder, Owner
Meet Cindy
Cindy is a Certified Senior Move Manager (SMM-C) and Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) with a deep passion for helping older adults and their families navigate life’s transitions with dignity, clarity, and compassion. Her journey into senior care was inspired by her personal experience caring for her own mother and grandmother—an experience that led her to shift her career path from interior design to senior services, where she could make a lasting impact on the lives of others.
Today, Cindy in an expert in downsizing, decluttering, and managing complex later-in-life relocations, including dementia-informed moves and transitions to memory care. Her background in interior design gives her a unique ability to create spaces that are both functional and comforting during times of change.
Before founding Transition With Care, Cindy held marketing roles in senior housing, home care, and with the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas. These roles helped shape her deep understanding of the senior care continuum and further fueled her commitment to serving this community.
Cindy is a recognized voice in the field and has presented at the National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM). She is frequently invited to speak on topics such as successful dementia relocations, preparing for downsizing, and navigating the emotional and logistical aspects of aging-related moves. She has also been featured on several podcasts including Marriette on the Move, Good Neighbor, and Caregiving Corner, available on Spotify.
She remains deeply committed to her clients, her team, and the senior community at large. Her long-standing mantra reflects the heart of her work:
“The one thing we can count on in life is change, and we can get through anything with the right support.”
